Virus Killer

The game features a board populated by viruses of three color variants: red, yellow, and blue. Players are tasked with manipulating falling capsules, adjusting their position by moving them left or right and rotating them to align with the viruses and existing capsules on the board. Matching four or more capsule halves or viruses in vertical or horizontal lines results in their removal from the game. The primary goal is to progress through levels by clearing all viruses from the playing field. If capsules accumulate in a way that blocks the bottle’s narrow neck, it leads to a game over.

Players have the flexibility to select the starting difficulty level each time they initiate a new game. The initial level, ranging from zero to twenty, determines the virus count to clear. Additionally, there are three game speed options that determine how quickly capsules descend into the bottle. Scoring is solely based on virus elimination, disregarding completion time or number of capsules used. Once players conquer the highest difficulty level, they can aim to increase their score further; however, the virus count remains constant. Points are awarded for clearing multiple viruses simultaneously, while no additional points are given for chain reactions triggered by eliminating one set of objects that results in another set being cleared. Notably, game speed influences scoring calculations, with higher speeds translating to more points earned.
